My classes range from anywhere between 30 and 50 students and I have between 3 and 4 classes a semester. I have a discussion component in every class I teach, which used to drive me absolutely crazy because the grading took a million years. And now I use Packback. In my lower-level classes where it’s like, you did it or you didn’t, it takes me maybe 5 minutes per class to enter grading. For my upper-level…on the high end, it takes me about 15 minutes to do grading and this is compared to, before Packback, I would basically have to block a day off every week to just devote to discussion grading. Now it’s super easy… the grading is so, so, so streamlined that it’s not stressful and it’s just kind of fun to have a class discussion now.”
