Grading Packback Discussions in Less Than 5 Minutes

“My classes range from anywhere between 30 and 50 students and I have between 3 and 4 classes a semester. I have a discussion component in every class I teach, which used to drive me absolutely crazy because the grading took a million years. And now I use Packback. In my lower-level classes where it’s like, you did it or you didn’t, it takes me maybe 5 minutes per class to enter grading. For my upper-level…on the high end, it takes me about 15 minutes to do grading and this is compared to, before Packback, I would basically have to block a day off every week to just devote to discussion grading.
